The BON ODORI: GATHERING OF JOY

is the annual Buddhist community get-
together to remember and honor through  music and dance our deceased relatives
and friends. Truly a unique memorial  celebration and one that has been
embraced by the greater community,  the Buddhist Temple’s Bon Odori is
a lively expression of our gratitude  to the deceased for their continuing
influence in our lives.

Ongoing in the parking lot:

Sales of food, spam musubi, snacks and grilled teriyaki

(bean cakes), Buddhist books and gifts

OKONOMIYAKI….

Freshly made with love and care and the most delicious you have ever tasted.

A combo of vegetables, eggs and flour….

A Vegetable Omelette Pancake!

There is also the pre-made Bento available…

with choice of Beef, Chicken or Tofu

Our popular bento always sells out!

Other foods will be available.

Come early to make a paper lantern in memory of a loved one. It will be
hung outside and visible from the dance circle below.

Free children’s activities in the Annex Hall are planned (TBA).
