Jason Mraz to do Dec. 3 Fundraiser Show @ Belly Up in Solana Beach

The multi-Grammy Award-winning Oceanside troubadour

will perform a Dec. 3 concert with

TOCO RIVERA

at the Belly Up in Solana Beach 

The Belly Up show is a benefit for the newly launched

Jason Mraz Foundation,

which is devoted to a variety of causes. Those causes include two environmental preservation groups, the Surfrider Foundation and the National Resources Defense Council; and two recovery and assistance programs, MusiCares (which aids musicians in need) and Life Rolls On (which helps young people with spinal cord injuries).

The Mraz Foundation’s other beneficiaries

include three arts education groups, and the True Colors Fund,

which works to inspire “the straight community to become active participants

in the advancement of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality…

One-hundred tickets for Mraz fan club members for the Dec. 3 Belly Up show went on sale Tuesday and sold-out in five minutes. The Belly Up had a pre-sale of an additional 100 tickets at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Those sold out in 25 minutes, according to a Belly Up spokeswoman.

The remaining 400 tickets will go on sale Friday morning.
