BALBOA BARKS: A Day of Peace, Love & Canine Companions





BALBOA BARKS  …… Raise funds, have fun, and meet new friends

 Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 10AM-3PM in Balboa Park at the corner of Park Blvd and Presidents Way.

 Formerly called Woofstock, the festival features

                                             flyball, disc dogs,

a K9 playground,


contests and great shopping, delicious food and more!

All proceeds benefit Canine Companions for Independence (CCI), a local non-pprofit that provides assistance dogs to people with disabilities compleltely free of charge.


 General admission is only $7 (children 5 and under are free) with coupons available at local businesses.


Peace, Love & Canine Companions dog walk precedes the festival at 9AM.

Walk registration fee ($35 adult, $15 child, $75 family………….) includes a cool BALBOA BARKS

 t-shirt, free festival admission and a sWAG bag filled with great surprises!

What a great way to spend the day and help those disabled and in need of the Canine Companions…….
